I was hesitant to get this filter because of the mixed reviews, but I have to say, in my case my hair looks better and is more manageable, I have horrible psoriasis, and I've already got improvement with that issue, and I even started drinking it, and it tastes way better than sink water.I don't know about changes in pH, or anything else, it might depend on water quality, but in my personal case, yes, it seems to be working to the point where I've already got another one sitting in my cart waiting for payday to order another one. I'm going to install these on every faucet that I can in the house.
