I bought these to replace my single blade skewers. This solves the problem of rotating products and the impossibility of their even cooking. These skewers solved the problem. As I loaded food onto the skewers, the prongs tended to expand and compress when I got to the end. The skewers are sharp but it took some effort to put the food on and I stabbed myself with a knife a couple of times. Perhaps a tapered tip would work better than an angled cut. It really solved the uneven cooking problem and looked good. I think I'll get better the more I use them. Hope that helps.
