Charge controller really impressed. I've used similar charge controllers in the past. I also use the controller on another system with a remote MT5 counter. This remote meter shows much more and allows you to control more functions. The manuals for the controller and the remote counter are much better than expected. The words are written in American English and have pleasantly surprised ever since. This unit gives me multiple solar panel and battery system options. I can choose the type of battery I use, I can also choose when and how long the "load" should be on. I use the load output to illuminate both the outside building and the garage. (The LED backlight is great and low power.) I haven't tried connecting the device to a computer and most likely won't go that route. The remote meter is easy to use and controls everything I can think of. (This replaces the PWM controller in this system, with the higher input voltage of the panels I see the input current to the batteries almost double the input current. Well worth it.)
