The first thing that struck me when I opened it was the great design. It comes with a quality mesh that helps hold the lid and mug together. The lid has two useful functions; Mesh/vent holes and a hook that can be locked in the up position. This means that the mug can also be used as a pot. There are also two curved handles that wrap around the mug for compact storage. The grips feel very solid thanks to a single titanium plate that attaches them to the cup's sidewall. I have previously cooked oatmeal and hot chocolate in this over the stove mug/pot and am happy with my purchase.
