It's hard to care for a patch cord, but this might be the cable to admire. I've had three instances over the years of the camera stopping because someone didn't see the cable in time to trip over it, and the orange cable idea just makes sense. There are other precautions you can take to prevent the camera from jerking the USB port and this system takes this into account with the jerk stop kit which I purchased separately. I have to admit that the highly visible orange is the best feature of this cable and while the price is a bit high I think it's worth the investment considering it will protect your gear.
