. Tested at Lowes, replacement filter is around $50. After looking online I found this filter - actually a pack of 3 filters - just over half the cost of 1 filter at Lowes. I placed an order and it arrived a day before the estimated delivery date (within 2 days). The old filter was easily removed with a twist and the new filter installed just as easily. Then I drained the water a bit and was ready to fill our coffee maker with fresh filtered water. I will definitely buy these filters again but it won't be long because I have 2 spare spares.
