My girl is only 14 months old and doesn't sleep in box spring beds or harder beds. She totally loves it! It's soft, comfortable, and she slept better straight away. I'd say get a waterproof mattress topper though, as the removable protector that comes with it isn't waterproof, and foam is more difficult to clean than a plastic-topped crib. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for. Fair warning, the bed is a bit longer than the cot, but as we've switched to a toddler style, that's not a huge issue. Perfect for a regular cot.
