Pro controller review and thoughts So I got my pro controller a while ago and wanted to write a little review about it for people who are still deciding if they want it or not . When I first got my Switch, I didn't buy a professional controller because I wanted to see how much I like stock joycons. Basically, I wanted to play alone, so not having a second full-size controller wouldn't be a problem. I still recommend people to do it. Don't buy a professional controller right away unless you know you need a different controller. It just makes sense and you shouldn't spend money on it unless you know the joycons aren't comfortable enough for you. But about a week ago I gave up and bought a professional controller. I argued that if I like it it's only about the cost of a AAA title game, less if you include the DLC. And if I didn't like it, I could return it or sell it or exchange it or whatever. I didn't want to be dissatisfied and I was right because the controller is excellent. You get a fairly long USB AC cable in the box. I guess it's 5 meters long. It's thick, relieves well at each end, and the connector has a little Nintendo branding, which I think is nice, but you probably don't care. The inclusion of a USB-C cable was a nice touch as USB-C is a fairly new standard and not everyone has cables for it. I wouldn't expect a micro-USB cable when using it, but since the Switch is one of the few USB-C devices I have, it was nice to have one.
