They look good and are solid hardware. Definitely not flimsy or cheap. I couldn't find an Android app that turns out to be iOS only. It didn't bother me much other than trying to figure it out for 10 minutes. I just grabbed my laptop and entered the router address to set it up. I tried setting it up but the speed was very slow. I was able to separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and 2.4 gave almost nothing. I've reset the master and slave multiple times to redo the setup, but I've had no luck. I regret not having attempted a replacement as I think it was just defective (or possibly user error). After spending half Saturday setting them up and not spending a day with my kids, I just threw in the towel. I don't know what the app looks like, but the UI on Windows was pretty nice.
