This is a really good solid hard drive. It feels good in the hand and the aluminum body seems to stand up to any kind of rough handling. With a current price of less than $40, this is a great way to get extra storage, use it as a time machine backup for your Mac, or to store your photos. It's a valid question if you really want a hard drive when flash can be a little cheaper and faster, but there are things you still need hard drives for and I'm assuming you've already accepted that solution if you buy this. I'm reviewing this drive for the fact that it's a great hard drive that's compact enough to carry around in a bag without taking up too much space. I appreciate that the disk activity indicator is very subtle and not distracting every time you access a file.
