Difficult, tiny and smelly

Ugh, Aunt Fanny, why? We needed a biodegradable cloth to keep in the car to clean up any mess that could come from keeping dogs. They walk through mud and dirt, and we struggle to use baby wipes to counter their dirt, but every time we pull out a baby wipe, we feel like a piece of polar ice caps melts. I decided to try these wipes. at home first, which made sense since I couldn't get them out of the container. I tried pre-filling the towels in a small hole (it's a small travel towel container) and every time I pulled on it I got either zero towels or 15 towels. In the end I simply took off the lid, took out the tissue roll and unpacked a tissue from the outside. I quickly found that these wipes are soapy. They contain a lot of vinegar and oils and all the ingredients that make them soapy because they leave a weird residue on everything. They also smell strongly of vinegar and I regularly use vinegar for cleaning. I wash my bathtub with vinegar twice a week. I wash my microwave with vinegar and clean my windows with vinegar. i love things I also love lavender and I didn't notice anything with these towels. I ended up throwing the container away, putting these wipes in a ziplock bag, and giving them to my mom to try when she was cleaning her bathroom.

Pros
  • Biodegradable and compostable (cloths break down under municipal composting conditions). Each tin contains 25 wipes.
Cons
  • Very expensive
