I use this material in my Solan in the inTank media basket which I bought on Amazon. I hope this material matches the reviews I've read. I will update the review in a few days or a week. Here is the update date, I was having problems with the alkalinity in my tank, which fluctuated between 7 and 8 and 9 on average. Use the BRS 2 part to get everything right. The last 3 days are alk and ph very stable. The alk stays at 8.4-8.6 and the pH is 8.1 during the day and stays fairly stable. The water clarity is excellent. With regular water changes and dosing of two parts, the aquarium really gets going! All corals and fish are in excellent condition. I wouldn't be the panacea for your reef tank, but it will help bring the situation under control.
