I just followed the instructions for Q. The kit comes with 2 tubes of glue, so probably one tube for each shelf, but I only used half a tube for each shelf (for no reason, I guess I wasn't thinking straight). I also left the shelf intact and empty for 4 days instead of 72 hours. Yes, I was in no hurry to use it immediately. I only used one shelf in the set because that's all I need. My shower stall already has a built in shower/alcove so I just need a little more space to store my face wash bottles. They aren't heavy by the way, so I honestly can't speak to the actual weight these caddies can handle, but I don't think you should expect them to be able to handle a lot of weight, especially these pump bottles. because if you pump them up with your hands, you'll gain a few extra pounds, so to speak. In any case, I've attached a photo and a short video so you can get an idea of how durable they are and if they'll work for your purpose. The shelves themselves are very stable and well made, but are quite heavy, but look nice overall.
