Review on Coleman 16 Quart Excursion Cooler Blue by Sebastian Erik

This is a half day cooler, the trip cooler name describes it correctly. I can fit plenty of bottles of water and (4) 32-ounce Gatorades in this cooler, but the ice only lasts part of the day. In addition, the convertible top cannot be locked. So if it's in the trunk or in the back seat of a car and you slam on the brakes hard, the cooler can tip over and water from melted ice and drinks will splash everywhere. The carrying handle is also quite fiddly. We didn't pay much for this cooler, but what we paid was too much. We replaced another very old 16 liter igloo cooler that had a lockable lid, the handle was twice as strong and the ice lasted 24 hours. It was worn so we went with the Coleman brand and expected much better quality than what we got. I DO NOT recommend this product to my friends unless they intend to mount it in their cars.
