Coleman fridge suitable for camping and hiking

I love this little fridge. Ideal for everyday use when I want to take water with me and keep it cold. Keep the food cold until I get home. In the summer I don't have to rush home to get cold milk, cheese, meat, etc - just pack them in this little fridge when I need them and then keep the food cold until I get home a few hours later . Love the size - just what I need it for. Very happy with the size, style, durability and cold resistance. Highly recommended and often used at weekends, even in…

Robust cooler, spacious and well insulated.

Absolutely holds ice all day. I work in HVAC and construction, and something cold keeps me warm in the tropical humidity of Louisiana. This keeps what you need cold all day (10+ hours) even if you leave it in the sun. I can fit 8 or 9 20 ounce sports drinks plus my sandwich. Being affordable, I think it deserves 5 stars. That was hard. No cracks, no fading and the handle feels sturdy. I like this cooler very much. If I lost it I would buy another one which is the best compliment I can think of.

Excellent quality for many years at an affordable price!

Excellent quality for many years at a very reasonable price. Holds approximately 15 bottles of Gatorade (16.9 oz), see photo for comparison, and keeps contents cool for extended periods of time. Bought specifically for long trips. I got it driving from New Jersey to Montreal which is about a 6 hour drive and when we got to the Canadian border the contents were still cold. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a portable fridge for your car or maybe a family getaway.

Great cooler for day trips

Good size cooler. We used it for the first time on an 85 degree sunny day. It has been opened several times and sat in the sun throughout the meal. He then sat in our car (closed) for several hours with the windows open in an unshaded parking lot. At the end of the day (8 hours after we packed it) the ice packs were still cold inside and the drinks were refreshingly cold. It was a lot better than the "pocket" cooler we used to use which ran out of ice packs and left drinks undesirably warm…

16 liter lightweight cooler

This is a half day cooler, the trip cooler name describes it correctly. I can fit plenty of bottles of water and (4) 32-ounce Gatorades in this cooler, but the ice only lasts part of the day. In addition, the convertible top cannot be locked. So if it's in the trunk or in the back seat of a car and you slam on the brakes hard, the cooler can tip over and water from melted ice and drinks will splash everywhere. The carrying handle is also quite fiddly. We didn't pay much for this cooler, but…

When it comes to coolers, size matters

Larger coolers work better. It's important to note that in addition to a larger volume allowing them to "hold more cold" (thermal mass), as size increases, volume increases in a cubic function (faster) and surface area (like heat penetrates) in a square increases function (more). slow). Math aside, don't expect miracles. The size is an internal constraint. If you fill it about half full with cargo (pre-chilled food and drinks) and half full with cold (ice or ice packs), expect about 24 hours of
