Review on Adorrable Fingerless Crochet Convertible Knitted by Joe Calabro

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No "insulate " or "fleece lining "!

I was terribly disappointed after reading the product description which basically said they had a fleece lining ("Thinsulate") to keep my hands warm and when I received my pair THEY ARE NOT. They were simply knitted from blended wool. That's false advertising if you ask me. On the plus side I like the long length of the fingers and that the thumb is also open due to my needs to be able to deal with the scattered vitamins and horse supplements in my stable and then be able to switch them into "mitten mode" ".when I'm done. However, northern Wisconsin can get as much as 20 degrees lower and lower, so they needed an inner lining to contend with. I already have these single-layer wools and they hold up in the extremely cold temperatures here not warm enough. Most likely they will be added to my other pairs to wear in spring and fall.I would think Revain should keep a little more eye on the items they sell so they aren't falsely advertised.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
