I bought this beeswax to make cosmetics and candles from 100% beeswax. When I opened each package I could smell a very strong chemical or plastic smell. Even filtered white beeswax doesn't usually smell like this. As soon as I started working with him, I realized something was wrong. It cools very strangely, tunnels deep, and has had to be refilled and edited over and over again to get consistent results. It smells strongly of paraffin. You can easily peel it off the sides of the bowl, which you can't do with real beeswax. My conclusion is that this is not 100% beeswax and I don't like it. I am very dissatisfied with my purchase and wasted hours of candle making that I am not faithful to pass on to my customers.
