Full Disclosure: Not a pro at all, just a gamer who needs a good mic and a pop screen that protects the mic and fits snugly. I bought this to replace another type of pop filter. which I found less than desirable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RJCP45V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I really like this design and it's a lot better than the other kind in my opinion. It always has a constant distance to the mic, is unobtrusive and simply looks better than the one listed above (in my opinion). . Of course you could make that work since they give you extra little strips, but the plastic casing on the inside is a little too tight for my liking. I ended up using a heat gun to slightly melt the inner plastic stand and bend it a bit more to fit the mic snugly. The plastic part isn't directly above the filter part, probably about an inch, so I didn't damage the filter itself, but to be honest I sweated a bit to make sure I didn't damage it and waste my money. Money. It ended up working fine for me, but given that I was able to physically reshape the product (since no one seems to be doing it for the Blue Yeti), I was ironically a bit disappointed with the quality of material used that allowed me to create it to do. I'm also concerned that the little ties that are supposed to hold this in place will loosen over time and won't leave them without replacing them or buying something else. To be honest I don't hear a big difference in sound quality, barely noticeable, but maybe someone with better hearing will say the difference is big.
