Made in China! on handling equipment

Sorry this was made in China. I figured it was made somewhere other than China for $24. It appears to be a rough cast that was semi-finished by the least qualified person they could find, who was willing to stuff it into a 60 grit circle, removing all the corners from the side they were starting from the easiest to ride were having concluded that they had done their job of removing excess material and forgone further mass reduction. The blue rubber grip is very slippery. I can't imagine how smooth they will be if your hands/gloves are covered in hydraulic oil etc. The manufacturer has chosen to write "CHINA" on one side and "PAT PEND" on the other in large, bold letters. Pointed hook on tail rumored to pry open lugs on 5 gallon steel. Bucket lids and the removal of lids from traditional steel gallon, quart and pint cans are useless as it is either a casting defect or because a piece was broken off somewhere in the manufacturing process prior to coating as it is covered directly above. While I can't do anything about the resources (human, material, energy, etc.) wasted in making this "bucket opener", I decided to take the time to write this review in hopes, folks to spare who are considering a purchase. it, from waste of time and money. I'm sending this back. Most likely, I will be refunded the purchase price, but I do not have time. On the other hand, the corrugated cardboard box it was packed in looks high-quality and stable. Much of my criticism stems from questionable manufacturing decisions and poor execution during the production phase when I launched this concept. However, with the exception of the choice of handle material, the overall design can be very successful.
