On the side there is a switch for the water supply through the filter. The filter is designed for 320 liters of water. The filter uses activated carbon technology. It can produce 0.5 gallons of filtered water per minute. The kit also includes 2 adapters to install the filter on almost any faucet (but not on spray or sensor faucets). The device was made in China. I found this filter extremely easy to install. Just screw it onto your kitchen faucet, no tools required. This results in a noticeable improvement in reducing chlorine taste and water odor. With a durable stainless steel construction, it looks more attractive than plastic filters. I like this filter more than pitcher filters because pitcher filters usually have silver in the filters which creates its own toxic issues. Overall, this filter is easy to use, easy to install, and a very economical way to reduce chlorine and other contaminants in your tap water.
