IT WORKS! External Components

I bought this solution to solve problems with PS5, Alienware PC (with 2080 Super Card) and Sony 4K Blu-ray Player. My current HDMI cable from my receiver (a Denon 2020 model with HDMI 2.1) to my Sony 4K projector at 25ft dropped a higher bandwidth signal. This felt like a blank or flickering screen, and I was hoping that either an 8K fiber optic cable (fragile at long lengths) or an HDMI Ethernet solution would work. I chose the latter, received it today, plugged it in and every source plays in the highest resolution including HDR. Although my PS5 can play 4K120, it runs at 4K60 (my projector runs at that speed) which is perfect! So happy I found a simple solution that works! As for the transceivers getting hot, I see in the manual that the maximum operating temperature is 113 degrees Fahrenheit. This is normal as the transmitter (with the power adapter plugged into the wall) is located on a glass shelf next to the unit. , and the receiver is installed on the ceiling next to the projector. View images from various sources showing the input and output resolutions reported by the Denon receiver.
