Our 1 year old pup started digging huge holes in the lawn, not only did he ruin the lawn but it was only a matter of time before she started digging under the fence to tell the neighbors to visit. "beep" and "vibrate" twice and it stopped them immediately! I didn't try the shock feature as the other two worked so well. She learned it in about a week and hasn't dug a hole in her lawn in over a month! It requires a certain consistency to be effective. You don't need to use a fix if you only see results of bad behavior when you see bad behavior occurring. You need to watch her constantly and give a calm but firm verbal command. Wish I had gotten this sooner, would have saved a lot of dead spots in the grass!
