This product works well for me. I was able to completely reorganize my SD card array so I don't always find the right card for the files I'm looking for, and it gave me the ability to copy back and forth between cards. (I used to have to upload/download to my main drive). The product supports higher speeds (anecdotally - haven't pulled the timer yet) and doesn't generate much heat. The rating would be five if not for me. I'm not always sure if the card is really idle. When I remove the card from the Windows system, the LED on the drive stays on, which makes me concerned whether this is actually happening to the card or not. I would probably buy it again but as I mentioned in the title it seems a bit pricey.
