This is my third Sonicare toothbrush as my previous ones wore out after years of use. I had this device for 6 months and after about 4 months I was having trouble stopping and starting it multiple times during use. I contacted Phillips and they provided a sequence of commands to reset the toothbrush pressure sensor. Apparently this is a new feature for the HX993 series. However, the sequence was only a temporary fix. I contacted them today and they want to replace the toothbrush handle. Here's the catch. You must ship yours and wait 5-7 business days to receive a replacement. Refurbished exchangeable. This refers to a used toothbrush. I will never buy these toothbrushes again and stay away from a company like Phillips that doesn't stand behind their product and doesn't care about their customers.
