As with most things, I explore 'til I drop! I feel like the time I spent researching these and all other converters has paid off. They are extremely efficient. They are very quiet, but produce a surprising amount of power. They are only connected to the LFE signal. I'm sure they work well with a crossover bass signal as well, but I wanted them to only work when movies are sending a specific LFE signal for the effect. They really take immersion to a whole new level without even drawing attention once you level up. Boost too much and they're obnoxious, but fun to startle an unsuspecting victim the first time. To be clear these are just vibration inductors and do not reproduce sound but create the illusion of very deep bass, much deeper than my subwoofers could ever reproduce to affect my theater chairs like this. If you have an old amp like mine, give them a try and you'll be quite surprised at how much more exciting they can bring explosions, gunfire, punches and the like to life.
