Looks cool, but rust/soot forms quickly.

They looked great for the first 6 months. A lot of rust and grime has built up (stainless steel so why is it rusting?). I cleaned it with water and degreaser and it looks a lot better. but the stock tips lasted 200,000 without rusting (wouldn't replace them but the Y-pipe and mufflers were almost rotten so I had no choice). In the future I will use a tip that resists rust better.
