I'll admit I was a bit skeptical when I first tried this slider, but it exceeded all of my expectations. For what's available in this price range, the feature set is top-notch. I chose this model precisely because of the Bluetooth functionality and the ability to take pictures with tracking. Both functions work well. There are only four things I'm not 100% sure about about this slider. 1: You can ONLY control the engine functions via Bluetooth. There are no buttons or controls on the device itself. 2: The app needs to be updated to have a version where EVERYTHING is written in English. The main controls/settings are in English, but there are pop-ups and minor features labeled in Chinese. 3: I wish you could manually move the pusher platform when the motor is attached. When the motor is fully attached, the glide platform will lock into place unless the motor moves it. That means you have to take out and sync your phone to make position adjustments. 4. When the slider is running at a speed less than 100% (especially less than 50%), the motor is noticeably noisy. I plan to use it mostly for B-roll recording and remote interviews so it's never near my sound source. Other than that, it's all little things and it won't stop me recommending this slider to anyone who needs one. It does exactly what I wanted and works almost as well as sliders that cost 2-4 times as much. I'm happy.
