This is a great bird seed and I have been feeding it for many years. My budgies live a very long time, especially compared to those of my friends who are seed fed. Zupreem Fruit Blend small parrot food (parrots) has larger nuggets than x-small canary food. My birds wasted a lot of food when I fed them small sizes. I read the ingredients and saw that it had the same formula as the other fruit blends, so I switched to x-small and eliminated the waste. I'm happy and so are the parrots! It's also more economical to get a 10 pound bag. I definitely recommend pellets and Zupreem is one of the best.
