As you can see these are solid metal latches. Much better than the standards! Installation is a bit tight, especially if you need to remove the bottom latch from the case. I found it easier to gain access by removing the front grille, then you have room to reach and loosen the nut with a 13mm socket . You will need to transfer the OE rubber piece that the hood sits on to the new latches. She just peels off the old ones and sticks them onto the new ones! The hood latch is easily removed with a size 10 wrench. If you have trouble aligning them during installation, try loosening the screws on the round locking pin. After I do that and everything is aligned, it closes perfectly! Just tighten everything when you're done and you'll have a great looking and better looking hood latch! The kit includes all the necessary hardware, including Allen wrenches!
