Fantastic for drawing with colored pencils.

I used an entire roll (yes it was really 20" x 12 ft) when I tried the colored pencil. Just ordered my second roll along with Grafix Dura Lar wet medium so I can try using watercolor and ink. I've added a few photos of my colored pencil drawings. Each carrier has its own advantages and disadvantages. Most colored pencils/mediums require 20 layers to create depth of colour. This will never happen with this matte Duralar, it lasts 3 to 5 coats depending on the brand of colored pencil used. Some might call it a downside, but I like it. I have to get the right color within one to three coats, which means the process is much quicker and means less time sharpening my pencils to stumps. With high-quality colored pencils. Using the Dura Mater also saves me money by buying fewer crayon replacements. This Dura-Lar can also take 100% abrasion, but gently. Otherwise, abrasion can flatten a tooth made of this material to the point where it becomes super smooth and shiny and doesn't retain any color. I learned to use electric erasure with very little pressure. Fantastic stuff. No other medium offers 100% clean erasure. Plus, no mixers or sealers are required, saving even more money. I will continue to use it for my colored pencil. After using a roll. I have no negative points.
