Many flaws. Definitely not worth the money

I was primarily looking for a new pepper grinder because I needed a grinder with an even grind (especially on coarse settings). I've done my research and it seems to be the consensus choice for 'best on the market' at the moment. The price was a little high but I figured if it's as good as everyone says it's like a buy for life so I went for the larger one. Well I use this thing now. for almost half a year and the only positive thing i can say about it is that it grinds a lot of pepper very quickly, although that is a rather minimal use. There are three HUGE design flaws (1-3 below) that I'm already looking for in a new pepper grinder, and other minor annoyances (4 and 5). 1) It grinds unevenly on coarse settings! The main reason I bought it was the consistent, coarse grind that it can't handle. It handles very fine settings well, but I don't grind fine peppers very often. 2) Charging is ridiculously difficult unless you have peppercorns rolling everywhere. I don't understand how people call this thing easy to download. You have to put it on its side and try to pour the pepper inside, then tilt the grinder up so they fall to the bottom of the chamber, repeat. I haven't found an efficient way to do this. I tried using a funnel but the opening isn't wide enough. I tried making a homemade wide mouth paper funnel but it still didn't work. I've tried watering them and pouring them into a measuring cup. Each time the pepper balls rolled all over the place. I would like to receive suggestions on this. 3) The grinder knob protrudes at the bottom. I like my peppers big, so the regulator knob at the bottom of the coffee grinder itself needs to be unscrewed a bit. As a result, it doesn't sit on my counter and wobbles/tilts a lot. I don't want to twist and screw it back in every time. I just want to get out of the setting, which is what I almost always want (very roughly). 4) It's dirty. I try to shake the extra pepper out of this thing every time I use it, but it still inevitably sprinkles crumbs all over my countertop. It would be better if it sat on the counter, grinder side up, and had a small latch on the lid (which would also release #3) 5) It's not the designer's fault, but you go through the pepper FAST. Passed a pound of peppercorns in 5 months. Yowza! Having this grinder really makes me wonder why "the fastest pepper grinder" is what most people want or need. I understand when you work in a food service and you need to grind a ton for a large batch of something, and of course there are situations at home where it's nice to be able to instantly grind a bunch of peppers to cover a roast or something , but in 99 cases out of 100 I only need a few quick twists for something on the stovetop or for a piece of veg/meat I'm seasoning. I'm really surprised by all these great reviews but maybe I'm just not the right person for this meat grinder.
