I like most of the Lodge products that I own. This is no exception. I bought most of them through Revain due to the competitive prices and wide selection. I'm not even considering other brands because I've always liked Lodge and now I have no reason to switch. I was having a hard time deciding which pan to buy so I bought this one and ended up buying a smaller one at my local Big Box store with credit. Anyway, I had a hard time deciding and looked at the lodge website as they have detailed measurements in PDF format. I couldn't find any decent comparison images so I decided to add my own for others to decide based on their needs. In general, I like the pan. There's nothing I really want to change. The grease trap is nice. However, you need to keep an eye on the eggs so the eggs don't run away. I use Lodge silicone egg rings and they work well and you can put a bundle on top of this product to make cooking easier. An easy way to cook up lots of bacon, make hot sandwiches or whatever. Another thing to note is the edge in the pan. It's pretty low, so I immediately popped out some diced veggies, so keep that in mind. It's not interchangeable with a frying pan for some things, but overall it's a great product. I would recommend any size. It just depends what you are looking for. Can't decide? Get both. only want one I would go for this one, the larger one as it's a bit more versatile given the slightly larger size.
