I will not be returning this item as the postage exceeds the price of the item. As others have noted, the holes are slightly smaller than the stated dimensions, possibly due to the thickness of the paint. Here's the workaround I use: Take the drill you want to measure and find the largest hole it goes through. So the correct size of this bit is the size of the next largest hole on the card. In other words, let's say, for example, the largest hole the drill will go through is marked 31/64 inches. If so, you have a 1/2" drill bit, although it won't go through the 1/2" hole. It's a pain in the neck and frankly prone to error (I've tagged mine to remind myself to "measure" to the nearest size), but justifies storing it in the store rather than in the bin. At least for now.
