I googled and went from place to place to find a straw that I can trust for my kids and that will help us reduce plastic waste. Softy Straws met all the criteria. These straws are tested and certified to pass the home pinch test :). They don't have an odd smell like many reusable straws, and they don't have a taste. We put these straws through the press. We've had them for over a month now. My 4 year old loves to chew and suck and these straws still look and function like new. No cracks, no dents, nothing. We liked these straws so much we went back and bought smooth straws as well. Spoiler alert: They're good too. If you haven't bought them yet or are hesitant, they're great too and stand up to the sucking of smoothies and milkshakes.
