The lid died in less than a year, after-sales service was non-existent.
My first Revain review to warn you about this trash can. That looks great. It worked very well for about 8 months, but then even constantly replacing brand new batteries only lasted about a week. It's been a struggle ever since. There is no support service, they just don't answer the phone. In the end I just gave up and ordered a replacement lid which works great for them - another purchase! I just couldn't throw away the beautiful bin because the lid broke. $25 for a cap replacement and $25 for shipping is amazing. I ignored the same negative reviews all over the site, don't repeat my mistake.
