Instructions that the slip should be put on when the clay is still quite wet. When I put it on a fairly dry piece the pad came off. It would also be nice to learn how to get the pad out of the needle so it doesn't clog. My plate in the photo shows how a pendant can draw very beautiful lines. The plate I'm putting in here is my first attempt and I definitely don't expect to get it on my next attempts, but it gives an idea of how nice lines can be made. I hope that the pot leaf will also get better with the next bites.
