Review on 38552P Road Pilot Ultra-Soft Molded Steering Wheel Cover in Grey - Custom Accessories by Patrick Cooney

Ordered to cover the factory fitted removable steering wheel. The thing is really soft and big/thick. If you're a long-distance driver this would probably be fine BUT it stinks. I put it in my car and smelled it right away. I thought it was new so the smell would go away. There is no such happiness. Three days later I bought a car deodorant from Fabreeze because I thought it would help. I'm still out of luck as the combination of scents was enough to make you vomit. I removed the lid and sniffed the soft surface that had no odor and then realized that the inner liner was where the smell was coming from. Put it in the trunk to take home. Now my trunk smells like this stuff. Put it in my garage and I hope it loses its smell or I have to throw it out. This item fits great and feels great, but with a scent it's a bad investment. I really wanted to like this thing.
