Review on Leashboss 15 Foot Dog Leash by Andrea Webb

I've been using this leash on a very heavy 60 lb boxer pit mix for several weeks. I like the length for hiking or walking in the park, but wouldn't use it for street walking. Ten feet offers just the right amount of relaxed freedom without having to mess with a longer leash or retractable leash. The handle makes this product. It's very practical and has convinced me to forego a retractable device when hiking (which I've never been particularly happy about). The leash is well made and I love it most of the time. The downside is that if your very strong dog is chasing a squirrel or a chipmunk, nylon will definitely not feel good on your arm if you need to trim the length. It doesn't cut like a retractable, but it's impractical. A wider 1 inch option might help. Of course, wider or different materials are heavier, so this is a compromise. I wear a light cotton glove on one hand and that pretty much solves the problem when I have to grab a short line. I would buy it again and could get a 15ft leash in certain situations.
