Got this lens for my A6000 converted to infrared. I was looking for a wide angle lens that didn't produce hotspots and was very happy to see that this lens didn't contain hotspots! Other advantages: sharpness, very low distortion and very low vignetting. It is an all-metal construction, quite small and light. On the other hand, I have to agree with Christopher Lee on the aperture. I haven't done any rigorous testing, but it's clear the dial is way off the mark. The metal lens cap on my example is a bit loose and falls off easily, so I'll probably get a snap-on lens cap for it. I'm happy with the purchase and will just take the time to understand its quirks. The price is hard to beat.
