Review on Hamilton 8 Inch 12 Inch Safety Lavender by Stacy Lewis

I bought this collar for my fat 14lb outdoor cat. It was very loose (apparently his neck isn't fat) and he almost immediately took it off somewhere down the street where I'll find it in a few years. At the time I bought the same collar in a different size for my kitten, a very naughty child who spent most of his childhood fighting our terrier. This collar (10 inches) is now too small, so I bought a size larger - 12 inches - for both cats. I hope the fat sticks with it. I really like this collar style. It's durable (although in 6 months the kitten frayed on a flat surface from the grease licking) and I had no issues with the elastic, which I only had to look for after reading bad reviews. It's a small hairband-like loop that holds the nylon together and either snaps or stretches when a fat man gets caught by his skinny neck. While I see it as a problem if the elastic wasn't tied well, I've had no problems and could easily replace it if I could find the choker after I've done away with the ponytail in favor of the comforts of life.
