Doesn't stick to collars, harnesses and leashes

After the bell part it's looped so it's not a strong connection, they connect the two ends something like a rubber band. It breaks very easily so it only lasted a few days before it broke. This is a beautiful purple and thick choker and would be a great choker if it didn't fall apart. The one I bought from the dollar store lasted almost a year so I was very disappointed that I paid more when it broke.

My cat is medium sized and even in the smallest hole she's quite big

She's not as light pink as she looks on my monitor. My cat is medium sized and quite large even in the smallest hole, but she is an indoor cat so I just put her back on when I find her on the floor. I bought it for her because I put a bell on her, since she's black and I can't see well it's easier for me to keep up with her when I hear where she is. Her pink collar is very pretty, just not as bright as I thought.

Good collar: Collars

Our cat removes the collars with plastic fasteners immediately after regular grooming. This kind of safety collar with buckle and elastic piece is much safer. Putting a small zip tie over the buckle after it's on your cat will prevent it from escaping. After about 6 months of use on our cat, the elasticated protection area began to thin and it was time to replace it with a new collar. I find the bell annoying, but it's fairly easy to remove with pliers to reveal the metal ring that holds the…

Excellent safety collar

I recently had a broken collar with a buckle that came loose in one day and was never seen again. The collar wasn't elastic, but the plastic clasp was a tear-off piece. I paid about $8 for it. My cat previously had a leather collar with a metal buckle, which he wore for over a year with no problems. Then I got this collar made of elastic material and I think it might stretch if the collar catches something. He wore it for a few weeks and still has it on and is fine. It has a cute little bell…

The good little collar is best for simple collars

Technically, this is not a detachable collar. There is a small stretch area that allows your cat to stretch it to a slightly larger size. Our cat wears an RFID chip that opens the cat flap. Unfortunately, she had an annoying habit of taking off her tear-off collars right away, so we had to go for this style. I don't know if she'll be able to escape with it in an emergency, but this is the only type of collar we've found that she'll keep on. We replace them about every 6 months as the gum in the

A good option, you need to "settle ".

As a former veterinarian and the owner of four kittens who frolic in our fenced yard, I know the importance of my cats wearing both tags and collars that they can escape from if they ever become addicted be on everything. Unfortunately, the newer "quick/snap" types come loose so easily that we keep losing them as we play and replacing them with lost ones in our bushes etc. that is, the loop has no purpose. The only downside was that this one appeared to be made from a more slippery nylon…

Tucker likes this. for dogs

This collar is strong but thin and light. That is a good thing. Cats don't like bulky, heavy collars and they get annoying with their tricky grooming. The second plus of this collar is the safety mechanism, which is a rubber band that stretches if the kitten gets caught on something. This is much better than the typical plastic buckle safety mechanism that usually opens too easily. The pendant and bell are very nice additions to the collar. However, I removed the bell. I don't want my cat…

Great collar but huge.

I bought this collar for my fat 14lb outdoor cat. It was very loose (apparently his neck isn't fat) and he almost immediately took it off somewhere down the street where I'll find it in a few years. At the time I bought the same collar in a different size for my kitten, a very naughty child who spent most of his childhood fighting our terrier. This collar (10 inches) is now too small, so I bought a size larger - 12 inches - for both cats. I hope the fat sticks with it. I really like this collar

MUCH better than most breakaway collars!

We bought two of these collars for our cats - we're tired of the cheap tear off collars sold at Petco and the like. We always found them lying around the house after (we suspect) the two got into an argument and after one of them disappeared outside with a rabies stamp we decided we'd had enough. The supplies showed they all wore the same ridiculously flimsy collars. The clasp does not withstand even the slightest pressure. OK, I understand that Fluffy could get her collar snagged on something…
