After the bell part it's looped so it's not a strong connection, they connect the two ends something like a rubber band. It breaks very easily so it only lasted a few days before it broke. This is a beautiful purple and thick choker and would be a great choker if it didn't fall apart. The one I bought from the dollar store lasted almost a year so I was very disappointed that I paid more when it broke.

I bought this collar for my fat 14lb outdoor cat. It was very loose (apparently his neck isn't fat) and he almost immediately took it off somewhere down the street where I'll find it in a few years. At the time I bought the same collar in a different size for my kitten, a very naughty child who spent most of his childhood fighting our terrier.
