These magnetic latches will do
I installed these latches on a trash/disposal drawer in the kitchen so I could open the drawer hands free. It's quite a heavy load when the jars are full. I used two latches on the bottom of the cabinet and they work adequately. The drawer can be opened/closed with a knee kick, but it takes extra effort to keep the drawer closed. Do not press with your foot, this will damage the housing cover! And I hate slamming the drawer to keep it closed. That's why I gave it 4 stars. I think this will work very well on a smaller drawer or door.
