Wholeheartedly recommend.

My Pavilion g4-1315dx kept erroring on boot due to a non-functional fan so I knew it was time to swap one in. I didn't really know where to find one, until this popped up through an Ebay search. After a little internet help, I disassembled/reassembled my laptop casing and did the fan swap. When I booted it the first time, I was so relieved that everything went directly to Windows with no problems. 2 months later, still no issues. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Cons

The cooling fan may not fit properly in all models of the HP Pavilion G7 series, which could result in further damage to the computer's internal hardware
