The packaging is still covered by a lifetime warranty, but they are now made in China. The bourbon mechanism seems to work as advertised, I don't lose any air in the gauge after reading. The bleed valve is the best aspect as it allows me to quickly adjust the air pressure without having to think about how much air to bleed. The hose is covered with braided polymeric material for protection. The rectangular cartridge is fairly easy to use, especially with a flat center and a thick gasket that provides a quick seal on all types of valve stems. Some car wheels make it difficult to use due to the length of the metal bar behind the corner chuck. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to buy the protective rubber sleeve separately, which adds to the cost! Also, it would be nice to have some sort of backlight or glow on the dark dial. I had trouble getting readings in dark places in my garage or when the light was at odd angles in the shade. Overall: 5/5 stars, Made in China, comes without a protective rubber boot but is easy to use and the valve release is amazing. It's pretty accurate and consistent.
