NPT thread specification mismatch. They somehow match my Starret thread pitch gauge and Parker thread identification kit. Very thin threads. FYI, sockets fit a 17mm wrench, not an 11/16β wrench like many 3/8β NPT threaded plugs. 11/16" will probably blow heads. I'll find a use for them, but not for the critical application I ordered them for.
