I received this TCSunBow SSD 32GB 64GB 120GB 240GB M.2 NGFF 2242 TLC NAND (N4 240GB) Internal Solid State Drive from the seller SunBow Technology Co Ltd and shipped by Revain FBA. The price at the time of purchase was $67.99. This review may be premature, but due to the lack of information on this disc, I wanted to put it there. I've only had this disc for a few days. I know the title is confusing and makes you think it could just be one of the drives with a different capacity. I confirm this is a 240GB M.2 SSD with both B and M Edge slots. My particular laptop (HP 450 G2) doesn't have a size limit for an M.2 SSD, although I've seen it on the forum got that someone said at the time it was 120 GB. It didn't make sense to me, so I took a chance and went with it. The screw that came with it didn't fit at all. I had to temporarily remove the screw from my hard drive until I later got the screw from an old laptop. Undaunted, I booted the laptop and entered UEFI. The drive was recognized without problems. I booted into Windows and initialized the drive, then started some experiments on the best way to install my OS (Win7 OEM) onto the drive. In the end, I couldn't restore the system and chose Macrium. After cloning 1GB system partition and OS partition, I was able to shrink OS partition and then copy recovery partition to it. It took me a few tries to figure out the best way to get her there. The good news is that by default my laptop boots the mSATA drive as UEFI points to. Without having to change anything else, I didn't even have to go through the startup fix for the MBR as expected. I then pulled out my old hard drive, replaced it with a larger capacity hard drive, and headed into town to move all my data files. other things seem to be faster too. I've redirected all my user files to my HDD so I don't have to worry about the SSD clogging up, although it has plenty of space I'd rather not risk it. I reevaluated the WEI and the primary hard drive. jumped into the cap 7.9. Since the previous HDD my low score was 5.9 iirc. My score is now 6.6 based on graphics. It fits me. I haven't run any hardware diagnostics to confirm the read/write times and I'm not overly concerned about that. Find a legitimate 240GB M.2 SSD that I can easily use as my boot drive is all I wanted and I couldn't be happier. Spring. maybe if that first screw really fits. But I can't deduct a star for that.
