Excellent image quality, manual lens means you have to do a little more work than autofocus, a tripod and live view give the best results but can be used manually with a bit of patience , the focus confirmation beep gets you closer but I can move the focus ring after the first confirmation beep and it will still beep like it's in focus but not really in focus, it's more noticeable when you press f2. 4 and subjects use 10ft or 10ft or less, if your subjects are more than 10ft away everything will be super sharp with a focus confirmation tone.
