These are average AAA batteries and can be used anywhere AAA is needed. However, if your device has flat contacts, these batteries may not work. You will think that the batteries are dead or have a flow of production. I received mine today and after fitting it into a Panasonic phone, I got the "insert battery" message just like a lot of other people. I checked the battery voltage, it was 1.29V, which was very good. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the clear plastic wrap around the battery was hanging off the bottom. This protruding transparent film prevents the battery from coming into contact with the phone's flat terminals. So I just use a sharp blade to remove the clear plastic from the bottom. I put the batteries back in the phone and the phone starts charging and connects to the base station. The problem is solved. I think this is a quality issue for the company and they should not only repair their stock like me but also compensate the customer who went through so much disappointment and disappointment.
