The installation was painful because it is not so easy to find wiring diagrams on the net to check everything. I actually opened the box and delayed the installation for a few months because of it. The manual in the box is only useful if you know exactly what you're doing and what kind of wires you need and if those wires are + or - and creatures that are versatile. I found there was an absurd amount of cables I wasn't aware of. actually not necessary. I used 6 of the 24 pin harnesses. But it's a good device. I tried to start my truck over a half mile away (in sight) and I saw it ignite and start. Was impressed. I know this is talking about a dealer install, but once you've done your homework on your vehicle's wiring harness and have a little understanding of wiring, you'll be fine.
