For starters - Mine was sent very quickly from BioTech Industries. Revane said he wouldn't be coming back for at least a week. I received it in 2 days so I was very satisfied but you can't always trust Revain's shipping estimates. This is undoubtedly one of the highest quality rotary buffers you will find. I work in a paint shop and use a polisher every day, mostly with a DeWalt rotary polisher and occasionally a Flex rotary polisher. This is what you'll want to buy if you spend hours buffing every week, although it's not necessarily what someone as a home gamer needs. If you need something a little more aggressive than an Orbital for a do-it-yourself application, the DeWalt Classic 6-8" Buffer is more ideal - it's $140 and really looks more like an industrial machine. The Flex will be much more polished, with better ergonomics and weight distribution, and the absence of many of the harsh vibrations found on cheaper machines. The Flex features smooth starts and very precise speed control. Both DeWalt and Flex will last a lifetime if you have your own Polishing the car But for me it comes down to zero on the Flex's better maneuverability and ergonomics, which I think justifies triple the price.
